Bio
Hi, I’m Maria! 🎨 I’m a professional artist, art director, architect, and art educator — and I believe that great art should be accessible to everyone, especially children. My mission is simple: to make art feel exciting, achievable, and relevant to every child. As a contemporary artist, I love experimenting with color, light, unusual materials, bold compositions, and modern visual culture. My own artistic practice combines classical artistic principles with contemporary techniques, including my signature use of fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark paints. And this is exactly what I bring into my classes. I teach children how to create bright, expressive Pop Art and contemporary-inspired artworks without making art feel complicated or intimidating. You don’t need to be “good at drawing” to make something amazing. I break the creative process into simple, fun steps and show children how to use color, shapes, composition and imagination to create artwork they can be genuinely proud of. I especially love working with ideas that children already connect with — characters, music, pop culture, animals, fashion, and the world around them — and transforming them into their own unique artworks. What makes my classes different? ✨ Real artist experience — I’m not only teaching art; I actively create and exhibit my own work internationally. 🎨 Art made accessible — I turn professional artistic techniques and concepts into something children can understand and enjoy. 🌈 Pop Art & contemporary creativity — bold colors, recognizable subjects, unexpected combinations and lots of freedom to experiment. 💡 Creativity over perfection — there is no “wrong” way to be creative. I encourage children to develop their own visual language instead of simply copying mine. ❤️ Confidence through art — my favorite moment is when a child looks at their finished artwork and realizes: “Wow… I actually made this!”
